1. Programme Overview

The Web Designing with JavaScript skill course is a 45-day intensive programme aimed at equipping learners with essential skills to build interactive and dynamic web applications. The course is structured into four blocks covering twelve units, moving from basic scripting concepts to advanced client-side web development.

The course begins with the fundamentals of JavaScript, including syntax, data types, operators, and control statements. Learners then explore core programming concepts such as objects, arrays, and functions, which form the backbone of JavaScript development. In the intermediate phase, the course introduces object-oriented techniques, regular expressions, and client-side scripting concepts.

It further focuses on dynamic web page manipulation using the Document Object Model (DOM), event handling, and scripting for media and graphics. The final phase emphasizes hands-on learning through writing JavaScript programs, DOM manipulation practice, and a mini project with practical assessment. By the end of the course, learners will be able to design responsive and interactive web pages using JavaScript.

5. Mode of Assessment & Certification

Examination: Online Examination at the end of the Course (1 Hour 30 Minutes) - 50 Marks total.

Passing Criteria: Minimum 20 Marks required.

Certification: A University Certificate will be awarded upon successful completion of the online examination with a minimum of 20 marks out of 50. The certificate is issued by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University, Hyderabad.
